The Bureau of Indian Standards supports its own encoding standard, which provides an 8-bit encoding using escape sequences to announce the language of the following coded character sequence:
Differences between PDF and actual standard
The PDF warns:
- The tabulation and Roman transliteration is not identical to the original document due to differences in the typesetting software used earlier.
